What Happened To Natalee Holloway?
Natalee Holloway, 18, vanished in Aruba early May 30, 2005, hours
before she was expected at the airport to return home in Alabama after a
five-day vacation with 124 classmates and seven chaperones. They were
celebrating graduation from Mountain Brook High School. Her U.S.
passport and packed bags were found in her room. She has been
missing ever since. What happened to her remains an unsolved mystery.
Natalee's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, her father Dave Holloway, and
her stepfather George "Jug" Twitty, along with family members and
friends, as well as law enforcement officials in the U.S. and Aruba, have
expended enormous efforts to find Natalee. Tragically, she has not been
found yet, and her disappearance remains a mystery.
Witnesses last saw Natalee Holloway with Joran van der Sloot, Deepak
Kalpoe, and his brother Satish Kalpoe, in Deepak's car. The three, Joran,
Deepak and Satish provided different versions of the events of that night.
Joran later gave other conflicting versions.
